Alwin J. Kolb represents the second generation of Managing Partners of the KOLB Group of Companies. His consistent continuation of his father Hans Kolb’s life’s work has turned HANS KOLB Wellpappe into a leading private company in the corrugated cardboard packaging sector. In his view, HANS KOLB Wellpappe’s work can be summarised as follows: “What we have and always will be striving for is to meet the market’s current and future needs in collaboration with our customers and to develop successful solutions to all packaging needs by engaging in a constructive dialogue.”

Dr. Bernhard Ruffing holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering and previously pursued a long-standing and successful career in the automotive supplier sector and construction supplier sector before taking into his hands the management of Kolb’s fortunes at the start of 2007. He is the deputy chairman of the Bavarian Paper, Cardboard and Plastic Processing Industry Association (VBPV) and an elected member of the Memmingen/Unterallgäu Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Regional Assembly and of the Schwaben/Augsburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Plenum.
