Protection against damage from overvoltage
Electrical charges occur everywhere. The resulting differences in potential can damage electronic components and assemblies. CORSTAT™ / CORTRONIC® protects against ESD damage.
The KOLB solution: Prevention of such damage by eliminating high potential differences and using shielded layer materials. Controlled electrostatic discharge is best achieved with materials that have a surface resistance of 105 to 108 ohm.
The CORCONTAINER by KOLB Coated Products is the ideal packaging for the transport, storage and postage of electronic components. The CORCONTAINER protects your products by means of discharge as well as shielding. The protective layers are applied to the outside of the cardboard material or integrated into the corrugated structure. They provide effective protection across the entire ESD risk range from 110² to 10 11 ohm. CORCONTAINERS are very durable and suitable for repeat use, making our product even more cost-effective. As the boxes are mode from environmentally friendly materials, they can be safely disposed of.
